Ombre

I have been wanting to wear this ombre Forever21 skirt for longest time but I can't find a top that would match it. But then I realized I had a lace cover-up in my closet and here is the final product. Since it was our "birthday", I wanted to wear something dainty and very princess-like and this combination suits that description very well. Since it was a very hot day, the skirt paired with the lace top was the perfect outfit since it's breezy and very light. I wore minimal accessories to highlight my ombre skirt but I had to wear my bejeweled sandals just to add a touch of glam to the whole outfit.

Foggy

beanie and scarf (old) from H&M, jacket (old) from Billabong, white top worn as inner wear from Forever21, leggings from Greenhills tiangge, floral espadrilles from Sundance

The Philippines is a tropical country and most times, we experience heat. That is why I love going to cold places and one of them is Tagaytay. Since the event was an overnight party and it was also raining and very foggy, I decided to bring lightweight clothes that is still going to keep me warm. I added a pop of color with one of my favorite pieces to wear during cold weather--a crochet beanie. It keeps your hair in place and at the same, it gives your head heat.

Florals and Polkas

Polka dot polo (old) and vintage black bag from The Only Ukay Queen, black skinny jeans (old) and rings from Forever 21, floral sneakers from Keds

Because I knew that the air-conditioning inside the SM Mall of Asia Arena was really cold, I decided to bring this polka-dot long-sleeved top as my outfit after I changed from the "uniform" we wore when we sang for the invocation of the UAAP 75 Opening (that was a very long sentence!). And since I was already wearing black skinny jeans, I opted not to change to denim shorts anymore. And I chose to wear the cutest floral sneakers from Keds to match my peach polka-dot top. I didn't wear much accessories that day because I don't want them getting lost (dressing room was full of people at all times).

What I love about this outfit is that it's not really conservative. It's laid back but at the same time, I had fun playing mix and match with the prints. I added the black leather bag just to add a classic touch to the whole look. And because the polo was too long for the pants, I tied to the whole look a funkier one.:)

Watercolor

Since I wasn't able to post anything yesterday, I decided to post another one tonight. :) It's Tuesday and I needed to run errands (home errands to be exact). I wanted to wear something light and free to move in. It was breezy and sunny the whole day so I chose to wear a dress that is so colorful it looks like a canvas that is watercolor-splatted. Hahaha!

Korean brand dress, Peter pan collar necklace from  Jhajing fashion accessories, ring from Forever21,  nails by Nailcessity, shoes from Parisian

Aside from being very noticeable, what I like about a dress like this is it's so flowy. The material that it's made in is so light that you can actually feel the breeze of the wind slipping through the dress. I paired it with a necklace that looks like it's a part of the dress! What I like about these necklaces naman is that serves two purposes: (1) it's a necklace, a statement one; and (2) it makes your dress look like it has a cute collar. Witty diba? :)

I know these shoes looks hard to walk in but believe me, this pair is one of the most comfortable shoes i own. :)

I stated on my previous blog that I went for a mani-pedi session yesterday? Well, this color is so cute that I picked it out the moment I saw the color from the nail polish wheel. Who said bright are only for summer? :)
